Voice mail

Voice mail services are provided to all full-time faculty and administrative staff upon request.

How to Access:

To access the voice mail system and the system tutorial, use one of these methods:

  • press the voice mail button on your phone
  • dial x2-2222 from on campus
  • dial 860-832-2222 from off campus

Like your email box, your voice mail box has a deleted items folder.  Even if you have deleted all of your voice mails, they still sit in that deleted items folder for 14 or 15 days.  You'll need to delete your deleted items to free up space in your voice mailbox:

  • From a CCSU computer or via a Citrix session:
  • From a phone:
    • Call into the voice mail system (22222 from a campus phone or Jabber and 860-832-2222 from an off campus phone)
    • Input your user id (your 5 digit phone extension) if it asks for it and then your 6 digit pin. 
    • Press 3, then 2 then 1 to delete your deleted messages.

How to Request:

New telephone/voice mail service , may be requested using the online forms:

  1. Navigate to https://itrequests.ccsu.edu
  2. Login with your CCSU email address and password.
  3. Search for the appropriate request form:
    1. New Telephone Service

    2. Change Existing Telephone Service

    3. Disconnect Telephone Service

    4. Adjunct Faculty Voicemail

  4. Complete the form; click Review & Submit; confirm the information and click Submit.
