As of April 2025, the student loaner laptop program has been paused. Computers for student use are available on every floor of the Library, visit Elihu Burritt Library Homepage - Central Connecticut State University (CCSU Library) for their hours. 

Through the CARES act, the University has a limited number of Windows laptops for students to borrow for the academic school year (through May). See https://www.ccsu.edu/it/itservices/student_laptop_info.html for more information.   

How to Request:

To request a loaner laptop:

1. Navigate to https://itrequests.ccsu.edu. 
2. Login with your CCSU email address and password.
3. Select the Student Loaner Laptop Request form. 
4. Complete the form; click Review & Submit; confirm the information and click Submit.

Once approved, you will be emailed the information about picking up your laptop from the Technology Support Center on the third floor of the Elihu Burritt Library.

 You will be asked to agree to the terms of the loan as outlined on https://www.ccsu.edu/it/itpolicies/cares_laptop_terms.html when you submit your request.
