How to Request Camtasia

Our CCSU license for Camtasia allows the software to be installed on Full-time Faculty CCSU-owned PC or Mac computers. It cannot be installed on personally owned computers or staff/student computers. Part-time faculty or staff can use Kaltura Capture via https://mediaspace.ccsu.edu or download a free trial of Camtasia from https://www.techsmith.com/video-editor.html.

To request a Camtasia installation:
1. Go to www.ccsu.edu/it and click on Service/Equipment Requests.
2. Login with email address and password (if prompted).
3. Search for "Camtasia".
4. Complete the form; click Review & Submit; confirm the information and click Submit. You will receive an email indicating your request has been received.
