Class Management Software (LanSchool)

In August 2023, a new version of LanSchool was installed. This new version is called LanSchool Air and is access via a website, rather than locally. The class management software enables instructors to access students' computers in order to monitor and restrict activity during classes. In addition to other features, the applications running on instructors' computers can be broadcast on each student's computer.

How to Access:

Available in selected computerized classrooms with both instructor and student workstations.

How to Request:

If LanSchool is not available in a fully computerized classroom where you are teaching, you will need to fill out the Software Installation Request for Classrooms and Labs form:

Go to www.ccsu.ed/it and click on Service and Equipment Requests.
Login with your CCSU email address and password.
Search for "Software Installation" and click on the Software Installation Request for Classrooms and Labs form.
Complete form, click Review & Submit, confirm the information and click Submit.
