Microsoft Software (Microsoft Office 365 and Windows)

We have a Microsoft Campus Agreement for a variety of Microsoft products including Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Publisher, Access), Project, Visio, Visual Studio.Net, and the Windows operating system.

How to Access:

CCSU-owned Computers: Microsoft Windows, Office, Project and Visio apps are installed on all CCSU-owned computers. These titles are available under the Programs menu (Windows) or Applications menu (Apple).

Web-based Access: Log in to https://office.ccsu.edu with your CCSU email address and BlueNet account password. Once logged in, you may use the web-based versions of the Microsoft Office products. 

Full version home use: Our licensing provides the full versions of Microsoft Office to active employees and students to download on up to 5 computers and mobiles devices for home/personal use. To install, log in to https://office365.ccsu.edu with your CCSU email address and password. Click Install apps (upper-right of screen) then Microsoft 365 apps.

• There are several levels of licensing:
  • While you are an active student or employee, your account is assigned a full license that includes the ability to download Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) onto personally-owned computers and mobile devices. 
  • Students: Two years after graduation (or your last class completed), an online-only license will be applied to your account; four years after graduation (or your last class completed), your account will be deactivated.
  • Employees: upon separation from the university, your account will be disabled unless you are granted Emeritus status.
