Banner is the administrative software application used by the University to maintain student records, financial aid, finance, alumni, and human resources data. Each system shares a common database, enabling the University to maintain records on someone who applies to the University, becomes a student, graduates, and becomes an alumnus. Because of the common database, multiple departments use the information entered into Banner. Though information is shared, most users are only allowed to look up specific information. Banner has sophisticated security measures in place to ensure that only authorized individuals have access to specific data, thus protecting the privacy and rights of all CCSU students and members of faculty and staff. Banner and related ERP systems are used by all administrative offices, academic secretaries, Deans, and Department Chairs for daily operations such as purchasing, billing, student records, and more.

How to Access:

  • Access requires specific approval and a separate username and password
  • Upon approval access via the Secure Enclave

The different areas within the Banner ERP system each have their own process for access.
